Overview

Automated negotiation between intelligent agents is attracting growing attention from the research community, stimulated by the International Automated Negotiating Agents Competition (ANAC) since 2010. This tutorial introduces the audience to automated negotiation and focuses on how reinforcement learning can be used to build negotiating agents that adapt their strategy, covering the concepts and tools needed to get started.

The target audience is postgraduate students and researchers in multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, game theory, and agreement technologies.
