Overview
Automated negotiation between intelligent agents is attracting growing attention as intelligent agents penetrate the market and their behavior needs to be coordinated. The International Automated Negotiating Agents Competition (ANAC) has stimulated this research since 2010. Since 2019, a new league focuses on automated negotiation in a realistic, business-like Supply Chain Management scenario (SCML). This tutorial introduces the audience to SCML and walks them through the development of an agent for the competition, highlighting the research challenges involved in automated negotiation and supply-chain management.
The target audience is postgraduate students and researchers in multi-agent systems, game theory, simulation, and practical applications of MAS.
